2011 “Vintage Holiday” Mini-Sessions are HERE!!

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then a holiday mini-session is for you!

Mini – Sessions are a shortened version of my full family portrait photography session. They are quick, easy, and you will LOVE the photos! It allows us to get some great shots of your children / family in a fun and relaxed studio environment. They are ideal for families who just want some updated holiday-inspired shots for their holiday cards, frames, gift prints, or Facebook page. Mini-sessions are NOT ideal for those seeking lots of great candids, or the between-the-moments shots, or those who want outfit changes or a wide range of background looks. This is offered only with Michele Reed Photography’s Full 2-hour Portrait sessions.

This years theme is “Vintage Holiday” and I am sooooo excited about it! This will be a vintage, stylish, prop-infused session to capture all the goodness of the holidays! I have some awesome vintage-like backdrops in gorgeous blues and reds and terrific props in holiday inspired colors that will be used for my sets this year. I am so looking forward to this years holiday studio sets!

Here is the scoop:

I am only offering ONE date this year for Mini-sessions, and they book up FAST, so secure your spot quickly.

WHAT: 20 minute photo session to capture 8-10 fully edited, custom images of your kids/family (up to 5 members).

WHERE: Michele Reed Photography Studios in Roswell

WHEN: Saturday, November 5th beginning at 9am.

WHAT TO WEAR: To take advantage of your full 20 minutes of shooting time, please plan on one outfit for your photo shoot. Dress your children in something that reflects your personal style and personality. It can be dressy, holiday-inspired, casual, or fun and silly in cute holiday PJ’s! I will have the perfect set-up for whatever style suits your taste.

SESSION COST: *FREE* with your order! $25.00 is payable in advance (at the time of your booking) to hold your spot and 100% is used as a credit to your holiday package order.

All of your fully edited images on a DVD, with printing release to print up to size 8×10, and 1 5×7 professional-quality print of your choice.

MERRY MAGIC COLLECTION: $300.00
All of the above plus 50 custom-designed holiday greeting cards with image of your choice press-printed on linen paper with envelopes.

Mini-sessions move quickly so it is imperative you arrive 5 mins early to ensure your family is ready to go right at your slotted time.

Snug as a bug in a vintage egg basket;)

This was the type of baby that makes you want to have another when you swore you weren’t having anymore:).  He really fought to keep his eyes open so I was with him and his family a long time today waiting on him to take the leap and rest his sleepy little eyes:)   BUT…he was perfect in every other way.  He tolerated nearly 4 hours of handling, posing/reposing, waking up/going back to sleep, picking up/ putting down, swaddling/un-swaddling, etc without so much as a *peep*.  Many times he would just lie awake gazing into my eyes as I was trying to soothe him to sleep and I wonder what he was thinking.

We got this shot at the very end when he finally dozed off into a deep slumber:)

Five is such a fun age!!

This is my 4th year photographing this little angel, and I truly look forward to seeing her and her family every year.  We switched it up a little this year and did a studio session rather than our usual location session due to the extreme summer heat.  I just adore this little girl to pieces.  She just lights up the room when she walks in.  I have so enjoyed watching her grow year by year.  Thanks, Mom and Dad for the opportunity to do so:)

I haven’t had a 3 month old in a while so I forgot how they fill out from being those itty bitty 1 week old babies. I couldn’t get enough of this little chunky monkey…. he was SO CUTE!  He gave me some great expressions….the fly on the wall must have been laughing HARD over me, Mom, and Dad’s silly faces and noises to try and get some expressions out of him!  I really enjoyed meeting you ALL today!!  Blessings to you and your beautiful family!

Another yummy newborn…

Meet lil’ Jonah.  Sweet and perfect as can be.  He truly was the most perfect baby ever.  And I can’t say enough nice things about his totally phenominal Mommy and Daddy.  They were just the calmest, coolest and most adoring parents.  Such a lovely, loving couple who truly adore eachother.  And Mom has mad, amazing singing talent!  (yes, Sam I checked out your website and music today:).  I wanted to ask her to sing for me when I was there, but I chickened out;)

I adore you guys and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek of your little miracle.

Sweet Success…baby Grant

Meet baby Grant…10 days old.   He wasnt too keen on the idea of modeling for me (hehe),  but I wasnt going to give up on him.  He stayed somewhat cozy when he was all wrapped up, although I think the towel stack was his very favorite place to be during his session;)  These kinds of images cause bouts of baby fever for me once in a while;)  When he had those moments of peace, they were wonderful little moments.  He’s a little babe who knows what he wants…which way to be held and cuddled, and he *loved* just being wrapped in Momma’s arms.  Those are the moments you never want to let go of.

 

Sweet Little Prince.

This little guy was SUCH a pleasure to work with. He was the best sleeper I’ve had in a while! No matter how many times he was shuffled around, dressed or undressed, he remained peacefully asleep. It was so nice and it made me glad to know that Mom could sit down and relax for a while.   Congratulations to the Rosenberg Family!

Ha!  Just seemed like the appropriate title to these fun family images!   They were such a fun-loving family I knew they would be up for the running and jumping shots:)

They were all troopers in the heat and humidity and just went with the flow and had fun!  I try my best to always make sessions fun for the kids and not a chore.   When their daughter told me she was having way more fun than she thought she would I was joyful!

This family was enjoying a final family session here before their big move to Brazil next month.  I had a ton of fun with you all and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
